Through thoughtful discussion and interactive participation, teens were encouraged to ask questions, share perspectives, listen to one another, and recognize that many of their experiences are shared.

What made the afternoon especially meaningful was the openness and engagement of the teens themselves. Their willingness to participate, reflect, and connect with one another transformed the session into more than a discussion — it became a space where they could feel heard, understood, and supported.

We are deeply grateful to Aisha for facilitating the conversation with warmth, sensitivity, and authenticity, and to the parents who trusted Sakhi STL to create this space for their teens.

Sakhi NextGen represents an important part of our vision — building community not only for today’s women, but also creating meaningful spaces for the next generation to connect, grow, and thrive.

Through conversations like these, we hope to continue strengthening understanding, confidence, and connection across generations.

Saturday, August 15, 2026 | Ballwin Pointe Clubhouse As a new school year approached, Sakhi STL expanded its mission across generations with the launch of Sakhi NextGen – Conversations that Matter, an interactive session created especially for South Asian teens in Grades 9–12.
