Vice President
I am Vandana Singh, born and raised in Jaunpur and Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, in a professor’s family where learning, teaching, and knowledge sharing were a way of life. This upbringing shaped my deep love for Indian culture, literature, and community values. I moved to the United States in 2011 and have continued to stay connected to my roots while embracing new opportunities and experiences.
I hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and my professional journey eventually led me into the field of Information Technology, where I continue to learn, grow, and contribute. Alongside my IT career in Enterprise, I also serve as a financial advisor, helping individuals and families build financial confidence and work toward long-term security.
For the past five years, I have been actively volunteering in the field of Hindi language education and contributing toward promoting Hindi language and cultural initiatives within the community. I am a Founder Member of Sakhi St. Louis, where I enjoy supporting women’s empowerment, cultural connections, and community building by creating opportunities for women to connect, share, and inspire one another.
I am also passionate about Hindi poetry and literature and love contributing to cultural and creative events that bring people together. I believe that when we uplift and support one another, we create a stronger, more connected, and more meaningful community.
